Upon his return from the 8th Banja Luka International tournament, GM Yuri Solodovnichenko sent us this cute game where his imagination helped him save tough position. The game was played at the 1999 Poland Grand Prix. Yuri is rated close to 2600 and is currently playing for chess clubs SF Gerresheim (Germany), Echiquier Niortais (France) and Escacs Figueres (Spain).
